Àuria Perfumes & Cosmetics is keen to capitalise on its comprehensive design and manufacturing services for perfumes and cosmetics, along with its sustainable philosophy and ethics. For that reason, the company is honoured to receive the VPC Green Beauty Award for the “Best Green Start-up”, in recognition of its positioning as a sustainable perfume manufacturer specialising in the design, manufacturing and handling of quality perfumery and cosmetic lines.
Àuria Perfumes wins the Gold Medal at the VPC Green Beauty Awards for the best sustainable perfume manufacturer younger than 15 years
Àuria Perfumes is proud to receive the Gold Medal at the VPC Green Beauty Awards, granted by the professional magazine VPC, during the second edition of the awards which recognise the work carried out by the best companies, as well as the best product launches, and sustainable and charitable initiatives within the cosmetic, perfumery and personal care industries in Spain.
The award ceremony took place on June 1st at the H10 Metropolitan Hotel in Barcelona, and brought together all the perfumery and beauty companies that have been nominated for either of the 13 categories that cover all the sustainable proposals within the industry: Best Company Committed to Sustainability, Most Sustainable Innovation, Best Sustainable Brand, Best Sustainable Raw Material, among others.
According to the awards jury, the Gold Medal granted to Àuria Perfumes recognises its clear commitment to sustainability and quality in the manufacturing of perfumes and cosmetics, as well as its Sustainability Plan, which covers everything from the sourcing of raw materials to the packaging. The selection of natural, recycled and recyclable materials, chosen according to their origin to reduce the environmental footprint of its products or even the consumption of energy, water and resources to improve their life cycle, has been key when determining the winner.
In the words of Albert Piñol, Àuria Perfumes’ CEO, this award highlights «the company’s ability to create perfumes with soul». He wants to share this recognition with the whole company, which is committed to the development of sustainable products as part of its new stage as a perfumery and cosmetics full-service provider.
«Àuria Perfumes focuses on manufacturing and designing perfumes and cosmetic products with sustainability criteria. However, we are not only talking about environmental sustainability but also about social sustainability, since our company is composed of people with intellectual disabilities, who are involved in our product manufacturing, design and development processes”, said Piñol after accepting the award.
According to Carles Solsona, president of the jury and director of the magazine Ventas de Perfumería y Cosmética, the aim of this award is to highlight “the huge efforts made by companies in the perfume and cosmetics industry to become even greener, more sustainable, charitable and egalitarian”.
